I expected better from Sony, but all I got was your average run of the mill MP3 player. I was hoping for a killer sound, instead I got an uneasy stream that just didn’t sound right. I wanted something to set it apart from everything else, but the Nw-S4 is nothing special. It looks cool, as most do, and it carries well. There’s not much wrong with it, it is simply nothing special. If you’re willing to settle for the average MP3 player, the NW-S4 is right for you. It’s a simple, ordinary, player that doesn’t offer anything better than any other MP3 player. I usually expect Sony to go all out, but they seemed to settle on average for this one, which they shouldn’t have done.
