I run. Not fast but 6 days a week. Rain, shine I do not care, I run. 4-8 miles. I need music. I love music. Not audiophile but I have sense of quality. Tried quite a numerous sport headphones: ATH, Sony’s, Philips. All of them can be divided to two groups either they sound good but have loose fit or they fit perfectly but sound awful. NWZ-W273 was my last attempt. I did not consider them initially because bulky side, I was thinking it will be a problem. Finally I got so frustrated with my last headphones(which alone cost more then NWZ), so I got online and ordered NWZs.
They arrived. I tried fit. Not bad, not bad at all. Do not care much about swimming, so can not comment. Charger - nice! Sony very nice job. I wish cord would be longer but I can get USB extender for few bucks, not a big deal. They sit so good on my head, no wind, no external noises, nothing. Just music and my own heartbeat. I love it! Some people can find it dangerous on street because you can not hear cars but it’s the way I want it. NO EXTERNAL SOUNDS! Controls are logical and after some training - super easy to use. Not sure how long they last, if they manage to survive 6mo(by this time I destroy 2 pairs of running shoes) I will buy another without a single doubt. If they last 1 year, I would consider it as miracle. Sony - great job!
Great sound quality- way better than what I expected
Zappin in - makes finding songs a lot easier
Water Resistant- water is what got my old mp3, so the fact that this one is water resistant is great!
Design- This thing just looks cool
