Well, I have used the PlayStation TV for quite a while now. I purchased it from Flipkart in August 2016 for Rupees 9500. I would like to shed some light on this product and tell you guys why you should not even consider buying this product.
1) First of all, it is not a gaming console like the PlayStation 4 or 3. It is actually a machine that is compatible only with PSP and PS Vita games. Just these games can run on it.
2) You need a very high speed connection if you want to stream your PS4 or PS3 games to your handheld device like your phone or something else. This should not be the case because you are already paying a premium for the PS TV itself.
3) Like I mentioned earlier, this only supports the PS Vita and PSP games. Now these games are extremely outdated and not many of them were made. For example, God of War had only the first and second part made for the PS Vita. Honestly, making of PSP games stopped way back in 2012 and PS Vita games stopped releasing in 2014. So you will not get any latest games. So well, a gaming platform is as good as the games it offers, and well, PS TV does not have any decent games to offer, trutj be told.
4) This costs almost 11000 rupees if you include the DualShock controllers. At this price point, you could pay 1000 more and get an XBox 360, which will not only offer a much better library of games, but also much better controls and connectivity. Above all, the graphics will be far better as the Xbox is much more capable than this machine.
