Laughter as we all know is the best medicine.It relieves us of our stresses, improves heart rate, decreases blood pressure and most importantly makes us feel goood! So after a hectic day’s work, what does one do to chill out.Maybe watch T.V? Right. So, what to watch on T.V which refreshes you? A comedy perhaps. Right again.
SAB T.V is perhaps the only Indian T.V channel which offers good quality comedies at all times for the exhausted Indian. SAB T.V(read Sri Adhikari Brothers Televesion) which formerly was a television production house which about 2 years ago decided to launch its own channel.Initially it ran reruns of the old programs it was producing for DD-METRO and was honestly boring.Only last year, it introduced a complete comedy package which is actually quite something. My favourites on this channel are:
1)YES BOSS:(Nominee for the best comedy award at the Indian Television awards):A couple who work in the same office--The wife is the husband’s immediate boss--The boss dosen’t know that they are married and loves the wife---The husband is a complete duffer:LAUGHOMETER
2)OFFICE OFFICE(Winner of 11 awards at the Indian Television awards):The common man of india named MUSSADI LAL (simpleton)---Government offices and departments---A team of organized bribe takers---and the bribe giver.

3)SRIMAAN SRIMATI(An old rerun of the award winning comedy series which ran on DD-METRO)Two neighbours who love each other’s wifes..need I say more

4)PUBLIC HAI SAB JAANTI HAI:A wonderful comedy on the current hot topics in Indian Politics

5)SAAHIB BIWI KE GULAAM:The latest comedy on the channel, this is the story of two husbands who live as ’GHAR JAMAAIS’ (in the house of their wifes) and are parttime servants.

There are a lot of other comedies , some of which are also quite good but some new ones like Dhaba Junction, Jo hansi wo phansi are not up to the mark.Also the ad breaks are becoming quite long.
Overall, this channel is a refreshing change from the run of mill Indian channels which are churning out one family soap after other.So, laugh and rejoice !
