I bought this Laptop in 2007 and by 2009 it has crashed completely. On speaking to the service center Sony did try to help a troubleshooting over the phone, but it did not work.
Then, the Sony Service Center informed that the cost to repair / replace is approx INR 20000/- Imagine, buying a laptop for 62000 and in 2 years paying another 20000! The physical visit experience to their service center was no good either.
The receptionist (sure was qualified) tells you that the mother board is gone and the display is gone. In my state of shock, I had to go back to the Head Office and again got re-directed to the same service center and this time, was recommended to drop of the laptop for a evaluation and progress it further. Guess, they need to improve even their un-friendly customer service. Imagine travelling back and forth for one one thing.
