Well, I should have given a review for this the day I bought it. But I didnt want any fault comments since I was head over heals in getting it.
I got the VGN-CR35G in April 2008 after my IBM’s laptop got fried.
My first choice was to get an IBM again since its the most trusted brand... But considering the fact that the MB got fried I was looking for other options.
I started to compare between Dell and Sony and found that Dell India’s service wasnt upto the mark and extended warranty was a total disaster. So got the Sony Laptop. I now am very very proud of my final decision. All these days of running all my business applications, travelling , etc this had helped me quite a bit.
One thing to be said is the build quality seems to excellent(found after accidentally dropping it twice). Windows Vista seems to be much stable on this and I never faced slower operations or Hang up till date (i can find the blue screen of death on my computer often)
as for the cons I didn’t find much. Except for the battery locking. they sud have put in auto locking system . it requries you to look it manually man if u forget to ur screwed a small shake on the laptop could spoil everything u were working on.
