Sony Xperia Z out of the BOX

Japanese Giant Sony, has walked out of its slumber. After loosing out quite a market in mobile handsets to Koreans, and lots of struggle in retaining its Experia series. Sony has finally unpacked its power packed “Sony Xperia Z”,

Sony Xperia Z boasts of  a refreshingly fast 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro chip processor, 2GB of RAM for a phone of that size. 5 inch “Reality’ display with a native resolution of 1, 920x1, 080. It runs on the all new Android 4.1(Jelly Bean), which is bit dated as 4.2 is out in the market with amazing few extra features. The Phone weighs less than 150 grams. A very appealing up-market sleek design with just a thickness of 8mm. It’s said to be water and Dust proof. In addition it also has 16GB of Internal storage and expandable memory slot.

Sony has moved away from its ealier image of xperia and this one has been rounded to look more like an iphone. The shatter proof glass gives it an glossy appeal, on the flip side it’s a finger print magnet. The Xperia Z’s 5-inch screen with 1080-p displays vibrant and vivid colours, possesses a pixel density of 443ppi –which is higher than I phone 5 and Galaxy 4S, It is all set to zoom into buyers pocket with impressive features. The bright 5-inch screen in the front and 1.5GHz quad-core at the back be prepared to drain out you battery charge faster, at optimal usage it can just last for about 5 hours. The company has indicated a talk time of 11hours and a stand by time of 23 days. These do not include your total phone usage. After all Xperia  Z is not just for calling.

Sony Provides you with an additional all new Stamina Mode, which disables all mobile data activity when your screen powers down. When engaged, Stamina Mode is should  give longer battery life, How effective is this feature is to be seen as most battery draining happens when the screen is on and you are working on it and not in idle times.

True to Sony image it has given the user an amazingly high 13.1 megapixels, I wonder how many mobile captures will get blown up to this size prints.  This camera is capable of  capturing real good clear images in spite of low lighting. I personally love the HDR(thought most don’t like it) and image stabilization is cool while capturing fast moving objects.

If it’s Sony the music too should be good. It stands tall by it. The music output is upto the mark for a business phone. They also give you a night dock where you can park your handset and listen to music.
