I am phone freak.. and do lot of surveys and look for reviews before going for a new phone. I bought this model about a year back and have visited at least 4 times at authorised service centres as the phone hangs, gets switched off in between , takes time to get the contacts once we restart etc etc. These guys say, they will update the software and till now nothing better has happened.
Its the same. Now my phone has crossed warranty period and obviously I have to pay. Instead, I took the phone to a local service centre and he explained saying the chip inside has a short circuit. This costs me Rs.2000 and more. I am sure, SE authorised centre did not inform about this as they have to spend for the same..very clever...
Do you know, , in the half an hour wait in the SE authorised centre, I have received 5 complaints from fresh customers, who have come saying their phone is useless and have conked off within a period of 2 months. These guys at the counters have no idea what they are speaking to the customers and backs off . Now I have to use this phone as I got it for a heavy price and giving a phone within a year is not wise. Now I am looking forward to switch over to my old brand "nokia".
