I chose SOTC-Bangalore for my trip to Dubai and that turned out to be my biggest mistake for my vacation-
Following are my experiences with SOTC-Bangalore
They made two VISA requests by my name to Dubai consulate and becuase of which my VISA was stuck in between. They had no clue of how a second request came in and always told me that they have made only one VISA request. I had to really run after consulate and call several offices to find out the source of VISA request and it turned out to be that they themselves had made two requests.
On the dyaa of my departure I got tickets, VISA and hotel voucher, but in terms of payment they always want things to be on-time else they will cancel the tour.
When I reached Sharjah nobody came to pick me up as they had not even informed there Dubai team about it, I had to really reach out to police station to call the Dubai folks and after standing for more than an hour in the scorching heat finally a cab arrived.
There is no coordination / tour manager given by SOTC and nobody was updating us on pick-up and drops during the entire tour, we ourselves had to call and ask them about anything.
The Bangalore office didn’t help at all in anything.
The Desert safari and barbeque dinner they have is rubbish. The call 100s of tourist in a single spot and with very low quality and quantity of food and you really need to fight to get a meal from counter as
