We booked our luggage with South Home Movers and Packers on 4th July, 2012 from Delhi to Visakhapatnam. It is 26th July and still the driver says the luggage will come in a couple of days. That is what he has been saying since last couple of weeks. The people in the Delhi office hardly lift the phone and when they lift the phone, they say the concerned person (RamaShankar) has gone downstairs (apparently 6-feet underground, because you will never talk to him after you paid him).
This is the same person who was running around you like a dog till you booked through South Home. He will promise everything (and probably everybody too) until you pay him. Once you pay him, he has you by your hair.We are yet to see the condition of my luggage when (and if) it arrives. Their office staff challenged me to do anything we like. We will keep you posted, but please be wary of this moving company. Go with a reliable company even if they cost a little more. It will save you a lot of headache and money (We had to stay in a hotel for 2 weeks before we made temporary arrangements by paying more).
