I recently moved from Chennai to Hyderabad. After going through few reviews, I have booked Southern Express packers and movers.
A guy called D.K Sharma visited the place, prior to the movement and he quoted 10, 500.
After packing it went to 20, 000.
Shifting 10, 500.
Insurance 3, 000
octal charges 3000(toll gates)
tax 1500
entering inside Hyderabad 1600
paper charges 400
He told me he will deliver in one day.But it reached after 4 days.
For taking my goods they brought TATA ACE.Which they place all items in that.Two guys sitting on the top of luggage.worst guys.
The people came to hyderabad are different guys. After reaching they said they wont unpack the things.
My all glass items damaged. BED and washing machine damaged.
Now they not lifting the phone call. I dont know how to processed for insurance.
Also they will ask to pay amount before itself.
1 Packing was not proper.
2 manner less people.
3 Ridiculous customer service.
4 My Items were Damaged.
5 After reaching Bangalore, they did not fit my cot and other things as promised.
6 Helpers ran away, with out informing us.
I’ll never recommend Southern packers and movers. If any one wants to go.
BEWARE Finally I ended up knocking consumer court for help for my missing goods. Case number. I got to know even the address mentioned on the website or email is fake.
Chennai Madhavaram, now it has turned up a case for forgery now. I’m advised by consumer court to submit a complaint copy at police station to involve them here as well.
