Till we bought the Maruti Zen Estilo car, SPECTRA staff used to be prompt and courteous but not after the payment was made. Even while selling the car, they provided accessories which have been prohibited in Mumbai, for instance, sound signals while the gear is on the reverse. We had to get the accessory removed on the suggestion of some friends.
When we made a complaint about providing unwanted accessories, the SPECTRA staff refused to take responsibility; instead kept insisting that they had provided the facility on our request. The staff’s only concern was to identify opportunities for business. They managed to convince us to get the engine painted to make it rust-proof, ant-proof and so on (and not SPECTRA proof) but did not bother to attend to our complaint regarding the rear bumper which has become loose. Even after repeated request, the staff refused to attend to the problem on the occasion of the second free service.
