Horrible customer service

Due to current Covid situation, we had to go for additional broadband, and unfortunately we picked Spectranet. We needed this urgently as multiple family member were now working/schooling from home and our existing BB range couldn’t reach others.


I spoke with one of their representative(Ms. Jaswinder kaur) and she mentioned that by paying 6 months advance I can get few benefits for eg., free installation. She also promised that the installation will be done the next day or latest by morning of day 2.


I paid the advance and submitted all the documents. After which somebody else whatsapp’d me and asked for the documents again and said the installation will be done the next day. There’s one more local spectranet rep who called me and said the installers will come tomorrow AM(day 2). They kept dillydallying, and promised everyday the installer will come today. One of their rep who was Whasapp’g me infact told the installer had already come and finished the installation - no such thing happened.


Unfortunately, I couldn’t wait indefinitely for them and had to go with another broadband service who finished installation immediately. I still was going to honor my commitment to Spectanet even though I got another broadband. When I followed up again they kept saying tomorrow we will get installed. Finally, on day 7 the installer had come - not on the promised day or time. By that time I had run out of patience with them. I had given them enough time to get it done, but they acted callously and not really cared about the urgency(virtual schooling). When I refused the installation, their local rep was angry and started talking rudely. I was shocked! I asked them if this is how you treat your prospective customer I am concerned about the treatment vetted to existing customer and hence I don’t want to proceed with the connection and would like to get a refund.


I have been following up with them since then and getting zero response. Its been over 3 weeks and they still have refunded the money nor willing to acknowledge my email.


I do not recommend Spectranet to anybody - the speed, etc may be alright, but their customer service sucks - horrible treatment. Better to go with others and keep them as last choice.
