Hi all! I am regular visitor of this mall at regular intervals of time.Spencer Plaza - was the only place once upon time where every chennaite would plan to spend their weekends.
But now, with the arising of many malls, it has lost it’s charm.
People have started flocking to the new malls and as a result, many famous brand shops in the mall had shifted either to those new malls or opened their own shops in areas like T.Nagar. It also had many types of restaurants with different cuisines.
Nowadays, Hotel Saravana Bhavan is still running their branch there. Likewise, a new food court is also opened here to savour the taste buds of office lobby people. Eventhough, at times we can see people visiting it, it is only small numbers and not a huge crowd like yesteryear.
We should not forget that it’s the forefront runner in the malls of chennai and to show tribute we can atleast make it a point to visit atleast once in a while as it is the home of many handicraft shops of other states eventhough branded shops had left the places. We can buy branded products whenever we want but beautiful handicrafts cannot be bought in chennai other than visiting those places.So, go ahead and visit this place once in a while.
