Pencers supermarket has opened at gurgaon mall..recently..I visited it yesterday...
As compare to Big Bazaar..the price range and variety is not too gud..
For example..a Fa Deo..mrp is 110/- Big Bazaar gives it at 100/- while Spencer was giving at 108/-
The discount scheme available at Spencer was ..on a purchase of 2500 u’ll get goods worth 750/- free.....which is quite expensive...
Also variety wise it was’nt adequate..At Big Bazaar..u’ll find huge variety....along with qualty.
While Spencers proved to be degraded in that aspect also..
The ambience was’nt cool...
Fruits were at high price as compared to local market..for e.g. Oranges we get 20/- per kg at local market....while at Spencers oranges were at 30 per kg..and that too with bad quality...
I don’t know why but the books store they have opened in the supermarket is equivalent to whole super market..
I mean....it cud b reduced in size to enlarge the products of daily use...so that supermarket cud get its real meaning..Also if u don’t enter from front door..like u park ur vehicle and then from basement parking u aim at Spencer then u’ll take 10-15 min to find it..since it is situated at Lower Ground i.e. between -1 and Ground..
So beware of such luring supermarket....Do a complete survey of these supermarkets and then go for shopping
