Myself Chaitali and today I am going to share my personal experience regarding the " Sphere Metro Dry Iron " which I bot around three months ago.
First things first, The look of this iron is very old, It seems like we are using a ten year old non electric iron. No design or stylish look is there, Its a very basic looking iron. It comes with only one color that is white. The plastic quality used is very bad, if you put your fingers forcefully it bends and makes noise like it will break. So the product looks, design, style and quality is very bad and it is not at all durable, we need to be careful while carrying this iron because it can break.
The iron is very and it weights around 2 kgs, So handling is not very easy. You cant even use it for a long time, It feels very heavy on your hand. The features are very basic. only one temperature controlling knob is there, through which you can handle the temperature of the iron, but the range is very low. only three modes is there, Normal, mid and high. that is not sufficient while you are pressing a heavy clothing. No steam option is there, so you need to wet the cloth before pressing. So option are features are very less and very less user friendly. The electric ware quality is very bad, it spins and it can break easily as the material used is very low quality. So be aware it can give you shock. The grip quality is not good, it slips while pressing. you need to buy an additional grip for better performance. So its not handy nor durable.
The power consumption is very high, As I used the electricity tracking, this iron took five unITES_Company of electricity to press one clothing, which is around twelve rupees, which is very high. this product is not even a three start, so it will consume high amount of electricity every time you will press. and your electricity bill will be high. It takes almost five to six minutes to get hot and you can only press one cloths after the iron gets hot. So the heating process is slow and it takes lots of time to press many cloths together. There is no automatic mode for automatic heating of the iron, so its a disadvantage.
The customer support is not at all good, I called them up to know that is it possible to exchange this product for a higher range product of the same company, At first I tried for four times but they kept my call on hold, and then they Faizabad and said they have registered a complaints and they will get back to me. but it has been long time they don’t even called me, so I am not at all satisfied by the service. So friends don’t buy this product at the price of 1, 200 rupees, it is not worthy. There are lots of good quality products available in market in less price. I would say no to this product.
