My friend recently purchased Spice Stellar 509 smartphone around 6.5k.and guess what, this turned out to be a nightmare for him:
1.Battery-2000mAh-Not sufficient for a samrtphone.deosn’t even last 10 hrs a day for talktime.
- Camera-8MP Rear & 2MP front-On paper, it seems to be fine, but the reality is something else.A very poor camera quality, both rear & front, which seems as if to be a 1MP recording.
3.Runs on Android Jelly Bean OS.
4.Dual sim, supporting 3G both(no 4G).
5 inches display, with no HD(854 x 480 pixels).You can easily get a smartphone at this price range with HD display.
Just 196 ppi(pixels per inch).
Only digital zoom is provided for camera.
No light sensor, compass, torch as sensors.
The most important-Only 1GB RAM & 4GB ROM.atleast 8GB ROM should have been there.
10.Poor quality earphones.
The only pros I found were:
1.A replaceable battery
2.A flip cover.
I don’t think anyone would like to buy a smartphone just for the above two points.
At this C.P, you can easily buy some well known brands, with better hardware and software features.This smartphone doesn’t standout with today’s competitors in the market.
No trust hereon for Spice brand.Certainly not recommended.
