Spice QT58 cute to look, but looks are deceptive

I bought Spice QT58 (2 of em, 1 for me and 1 for my friend). It looked good, cute, with qwerty keypad, dual sim and Bluetooth, and that’s all that I wanted. We liked it when we looked at it, moreover looks  are very attractive. We bought it.

Our problems started from the second day itself. The phone started acting crazy, the trackpad wouldn’t work properly, if you want to scroll right it would go up, when you want to scroll up it would go sideways. I still managed, few days more and I started to have difficulty with the messages. I had difficulty checking messages, if I spend some time checking messages it would close the message window automatically.

Thats not all, few more days and I had difficulty even reading the messages, I could not open it. The inbox shows 65 messages, but I cant see anything in the inbox, somehow all the messages moved to phone memory and I could not trace them anywhere in the phone, Few more days and one more problem, if I get a missed call I need to reboot the phone to check the missed call, otherwise the phone wouldn’t buzz.. I went to the service center, they said all it needs is a software update and all these problems  will be taken care.

He update the software thrice but still the problems didn’t stop. Send it the head office as they say now, but this phone is nothing but piece of junk. I read few more comments on Spice phones, and I guess Spice doesnt even know what technology is. All phones are cheap and not worth spending any money on them. If you buy spice,  be ready to use it as a paper weight.
