I was flying from Pune to Kolkata via Delhi and starting from the checkin counter, service standards were weak. It looked like they put a trainee in the checkin. He was so slow and there was another guy..who looked like he was a baggage porter and he was helping the trainee with the computer systems. So roughly it took 45 mins for that guy to check me and my family..while there was a queue of about 50 passengers with luggage waiting behind us. After landing in Delhi we were asked to sit in the flight. They didnt even allow me to use the washroom as they were going to do the headcount. Suddenly we were asked to deboard the flght and in the bus we were taked to terminal. None of the flight staff knew what was happening and there was utter chaos. Finally we came to know of the technical problem and a group of about 100-200 passengers were hereded like a flock of cattle and made to walk from old to new airport..kids and disabled passengers were extremely cranky for no fault o theirs. Then in front of new airport
we were made to wait for 30 mins outside the maingate in the scorching heat because the flight attendents had not informed the airport security that their passengers would board another flight...such is the responsibility of the spice jet staff. All of us were given a Rs 100 meal coupon to use at any restraunts in food court. Later we came to know that only PIZZA HUT and KFC and SOUTHERN SPICE would accept the coupon and there were only couple of items that we could oder.
HOPELESS is my verdict for SPICEJET.
