I travelled from Bangalore to Calcutta recently by Spicejet morning 9:55 flight. The negative aspect was the departure time punctuality.
The flight was delayed by almost 2 hours. I travelled before in Jet Airways and Indian Airlines but never had such experiences. Even my wife travelled by Spicejet 15 days before my journey date and she also had the same issue of delayed flight.
That time, I thought that it was an occasional delay, but afterwards I, when myself experiencing the delay, became little bit of sceptical about the Spicejet punctuality. Sometimes, they serve the mini water bottles at no cost and sometimes they do not. I can understand it is a low-cost, no frill airlines, but they can be consistent in that. The seating space was less and not so much comfortable.
Check-in process was without any hassle. The baggage handling also was without any issues. I got the baggage as soon as I reached the baggage lap; the collection process was prompt, which I really liked. Overall, the service was good.
