I am so glad I didn’t let my prejudice get the better of me..
Spider Man - Part 1 was painful to say the least... especially mary jane screaming at every opportunity she got! But Spider Man 2 was simply FABULOUS!! yeah never imagined ’the movie to be so good
The story goes something like this... Peter Parker aka Spiderman is in an identity crisis.. Everything in his life has turned its back on him except... Mary Jane who still loves him...
He has moved out from his aunt’s house, taken up a job from which he gets fired in the first frame itself, has rented a shoddy apartment, has a full time job of saving the world as Spiderman and misses college because of all the chaos..
His meeting with Dr. Octavian?? (hope I get this name right) is where the villian gets unveiled... yes yes.. a scientific experiment the combines physics and artificial intelligence creates a monster out of Dr. Octavius?? who is thereafter named as ’’Doc Oc’’
While all of this is happ, spidey also realises that his super powers are giving way.. All of this after falling mid air about at least a hundred times...
There’s lots more to the movie you should find out for yourself..
The movie has been shot briliiantly..
The special effects deserve a special mention cus that is what the whole movie is about..
Also throughout the movie what has been the idea is that Spiderman is just a normal man after all... and that he has his weak moments too...all that jazz
I personally think characters that also deserve a special mention are
1) Peter Parker’s Boss
2) Dr. Octavius and his Wife (I mean they are on screen only for a scene only but they are well casted and do a pretty good job of it)
Parker’s friend ’’Harry’’ looks very hot in this movie and Mary Jane is cranky as usual..
Also look out for the Chinese lady who sings the theme song ...
All in all its a great flick to go watch.. and it wont be the same on the small screen.. so book ur tickets before it is moved out of the theatres!!!
P.S. A friend of mine told me that Spiderman is the only superhero to marry his girlfriend .. is that true?? lemme know
