Spouse- sucks!!!!

Spouse- the truth about marriage

Shobha De has tried to make the reader understand about how Marriage work and why they fail.

It’s only because this book is written by a celebreity writer I decided to buy and read this book which I cannot recommend to any one.

Once it comes to a book on marriage, there can be three different angles:

  • Sociological.

  • Practical Guide.

  • Collection of study.

I fear the work by the author does not come under any category. It appears that she compiled the experiences (in much glamourized way) that she would have in her own private life with her hubby Di (as she has referred to him n number of times).

I donot know who are the target group that Shobhaa De would have kept in mind while compilnig this book.

The into of the book on the back page of the paperback is thoroughly misleading. Last para proclaims Fun, savvy and , above all, pragmatic, this is a ultimate relationship book for all those who want to make the adventure of marriage last a life time has nothing to so with the content of the book.

Had the book been published with only the bulleted point info that the writer has given at the end of each chapter that would have serve more purpose than reading the entire book.

This Non-Fiction book appears to be a collection of pure Fiction.
