In the history of South Indian Restaurants if any name that needs to be engraved, it would certainly be the "Annapurna Gowri Shankar Hotels" of Coimbatore. Such is the brand value!.. From the late 60s to the early 90s, the kind of delicacies that was served to the customers had no equivalence. But now it only stands as a brand exhibition of its yester generations... The quality then and the quality now are absolutely incomparable.. It was a fight for quality between the owner and the workers then to satisfy the customers.. That sincerity is lacking in the present administration. Its now an apt example for sale of below standard items just with the brand name..
