Ramadasu... as the name suggests its about Ramadasu a great devotee of Rama, at Bhadrachalam. It potrays how the temple of Rama was built at Bhadrachalam.
Overall the actors have done a great job, special mention to Nagarjuna as Ramadasu and Nageshwar Rao as Kabir. Of course others were brilliant. Sneha was her beautiful self, and suited the role of Kamala.
The only drawback was Suman as Vishnu/Rama, he has grown old, in Annammaya he was young and looked good, but here the director could have chosen somebody else. I needed lot of patience to watch him on screen because he lacked the charishma of the Suman in Annammaya.
The first half of the movie was fast paced and I did not even realise that 90 minutes of movie was over when the slide interval appeared on the screen.
The visual effects in the movie was lacking to a great extent. Except for the golden deer and some other CGs the movie was a failure in this technical aspect. The director could have taken more time and pain to see to this. It was a total failure, looked as if the effects were done my amateurs and not professional. India is doing well in this field so they could have concentrated more on this area. Being a period film and having lot of visual effects technically much more could have been done.
The kirtanas chosen for the movie were wonderful, and apt. They surely will be a rave all over.
Kudos to Mr Raghavendar Rao and party for making such a good period film.
