This restaurant has long served Coimbatore and emerged in 90’s as one of ‘the place’ to have a great evening dining. The food they offer is mostly Punjabi and Chinese which is their USP.
To start with, most soups are just Ajinomoto Salt water and almost all kebabs taste the same, but vary in color. Also the Masala is excessive and not fully done on most kebabs. The Roti’s and other Tandoori breads are not good as they are made either from Maida or Refined Wheat Flour. All Punjabi dishes tastes the same but only varies in name and color. Also equally unimpressive was the Chinese dishes, where the flavors are missing.Interior ambeince is nothing great.
Do not expect much from this place if you have had good Punjabi food in an authentic Punjabi hotel (run by a Sardar) or any other Punjabi hotel in Delhi or Mumbai. But on the whole not a bad place.
