The sporty Engineers In “The sporty Engineers” section we present our distinguished athletes who were selected to represent the Anna University Zone 7 team in their respective sport based on their performance in the intercollegiate events such as TIES, State level open tournaments, Inter-district tournaments and Anna University tournaments. Distinguished Performers Team of Savitha and Dharini belonging to the Department of Information Technology won the second prize held at CIT- Anna University, Coimbatore Zonal competition of Ball badminton. K.A.Saranu( Dept of CSE), Savitha(Dept of IT) secured 3rd place in 4*400 relay held at CIT- Anna university, Coimbatore Zonal competition. Vidhyapriya belonging to the Department of Computer Science Engineering won the fourth prize held at TIES. Our college Kabaddi[Men], BallBadminton[Men, Women], Football [Men] and Volleyball [Women] entered in the Quarterfinal of TIES 2009 -2010 Our college chess team secured 4th place in Anna university zone-7 Our college students are selected for Anna university zone-7 combined team.
