This review is a continuation from my other review.abt Choice school so pl. bear with me.
I heard about Sri Sri Ravishankar’s school which was really my last option for kindergarden since all the usual schools out here in Kochi would met out the same treatment as I had in the first school I tried out for my son.
I met the principal and the main person running the school and was impressed in the way they "figured out" my son in 10 minutes that they met him. Their genuine interest in my child spiked hope in us. We decided to try it out.
They were willing to experiment by letting me sit in his class for a few days. This was the end of the last term too! The infrastructure was not much but let me tell you, kids don’t look at all that.
It’s parents who worry about the bathrooms and the quality of chairs and tables. The love that poured from each of the teachers was magical. I saw how quickly my son was
adapting to the new environment minus the glitz and glamour offered earlier to him.Wonderful teachers who know every aspect of the new student that joined them. In no other school, will you see
how the other children accept and welcome a new member like in this school. That was truly heart-rendering. With open arms, they welcomed my son and I saw my son smiling
within a few days. He was at home.
This school has it’s priorities just right. They teaching concepts are based on what the child can understand and hold on strong to the basics. They let children be children
which I thought was a wonderful thing.The annula day which has to get a mention includes EVERY child and they make sure every child gets on stage.(no child left behind)
I am not sure my son’s first school does that because I’ve heard only the "smart" and extrovert" children get on stage . The rest can be in the audience! That’s not this school’s plan! Hurray for them.
I am an advocate as a parent for Sri Sri Ravishankar school. All parents struggling with what I went through, which I am sure is not rare, look no further - it’s great for the little ones.
