Yeah ...Most of the Software Institutes that have/had mushroomed in Bombay during the Dot Com Boom were only out to make a fast buck . Their strategy was to make cute lookin girls sit on the Front Office as ’Counsillors’ .
What bull sht .
And thus create a false kind of ambience in the poor unsuspecting candidates mind who has high hope’s of landing

Once just for Kicks I tried to get some technical info (pretending to be computer Illiterate)
from one such Counsillor in SSI(Vashi - New Bombay)
and u won’t believe , she was an absolute Zort !
Listen man SSI (Vashi) sucks big time . If u put in u’r money in this institute ...it’s as good as gone.
Why ?? plenty of reasons ..
1) The faculty in this institute keeps changing overnight.
2) Most of the Faculty will be one of the students , from a previous batch and very incompetitent.
3)Insufficient library facility considering that these guys charge u nearly 10 - 20 grand for any course.
4)There is quite a lot of favourism towards some of the candidates who tend to hang around this institute whole day probably bcause they are Unemployed.
Such candidates will always possess Library books & also some of the Software required which they manage somehow.
5)The management of this institute is really sad .
6)There is ABSOLUTELY no placement assistance/assurance that is given on compleating the course . As soon as u pay these guys their fees , U’re a nobody as far as the managemant is concerned.
That’s what SSI Vashi is my friends ...Please think twice before u enter this Institute.
