I purchased the St. Ives Swiss Formula Wipped Silk, New with More Moisturizers product. I assumed that it would be better than the original in that it contains more moisturizers. Well, something has changed the smell of it. I tried using this for 2 days and each day I smelled like bathroom spray; and not in a good way. I used to like this product but the new formula with "more moisturizers" does not do a body good.
The product is also oily. I have normal skin type but a little extra moisturizing never hurts. This was not like other body wash products that leave your skin feeling extra silky because of the moisturizer. This actually felt oily and therefore did not leave a clean, fresh feel to it.
When I walked into the room my husband wanted to know what that awful smell was. On top of that, it lingers in the room for quite a while.
So, I am throwing this away. I don’t even want to use it as a hand wash. Just a lesson learned at not a big price.
