Standard chartered bank does not have online bill pay facility. They are allowing only MSEB(electricity) payment online. For businesses dealing with foreign exchange, they provide online conversion facility. Unfortunately, it works 50% of time. They call it OLT. Whenever you are in need of money and want to convert the dollar amount, there are 50% of chances that system will work. You are almost stuck for payments to different vendor since conversion has not taken place.
Also they might randomly deduct $20 for inward remittance and will say that it is system glitch and they will reimburse it. It took 50 calls to them, to get 50% amount reimburse for a period of 5 month. System error still continues the same way. Good part is that NEFT / RTGS works good.
Customer service is poorest of all banks. They will take your call and will commit something which will never happen. It is more frustrating. If they had not committed at all then it would have been better.
Not recommended to do business with them.
