If you love yourself, stay away from Standard Chartered Bank (SCB). I have never taken any loan or credit card from this Bank before and I will not. The bank wrongfully debited my account for an ATM transaction that did not go through despite I had make a complain about it.
Even when they got a clearance from the merchant HSBC that the transaction was not successful and that my account should be credited back, SCB held on this money and left me stranded overseas. They are heartless group of Bankers.
Even when I complained to them that my money they are holding on to that I have issued a cheque to someone for that same value and that if the cheque is returned due to insufficient fund that I will go to jail...SCB preferred I go to jail. The Customer Care Centre can’t solve your problem.
They only make empty promises. You can’t speak to your branch manager if you have any problem. This is a Bank I have had more than 7 year banking relationship with worth millions of dollars, yet they treated me like a piece of rag. THIS IS A VERY BAD BANK. I WILL MAKE A YOUTUBE AD ON THIS SOON TREATMENT.
