My experience with manhatten credit card was bad.
BTW, I did not get the card. I am narrating the pre-issue.
They approached me for the card and I filled all the forms believing that it is good. Finally I got rejected since I sit in a different office and my employee of another one. (As a consultant).
After long times, those stupid telemarketing calls landed. I was experiencing problems with my HDFC card. so I decide to try manhatten. I was informed that I cannot have my photo in the card (this time only I asked them to have photo - after some bad experience)
They offered my Stan. chart excutive card for life time free this time to give a photo card.
First form they misplaced and again came to me to get it filled and I obliged. Then had verification every where(mobile, land line, office number, physical at res & physical at Office). During this time I got another call in my desk, looked like another telemarketing call. I kept the phone telling ’’not intersted in Manhatten cards’’.
After 3 weeks, I got a call on mobile telling you rejected the card once when we called, so can you sign another statement asking to go ahead. But I refused and decided enough is enough with SC/Manhatten credit cards and told no. They sent a regret letter and closed this.
In short: Very poor marketing, too much spam phone calls, wasting your time much on this. So I dont know how the service is if one gets card and run in to any issue.
