Hii @ll,
This time I gonna
share my experience on Staples, Bangalore. Its just a review not any revenge:)
Recently I decided to buy a camera, so after doing a rigorous search I
ultimately landed up at Canon powershot. I went to staples and inquired about
it, mainly the price and offers(if any).
Generally I have found sales person as
useless coz maximum of them wont be knowing any technical specification and
aspects of the products and whose straight blame goes to all these retail
big-bosses/managers. Its nothing but lack of training. The only thing they
concentrate is selling the product.
Selling a product is important no doubts but
at least let customer knows the full details. I believe transparency in the
system is the best thing to make it work flawlessly. But the pity part is it
lacks in India tremendously.
Now m just summarizing my observations:
1) Lack of
technical information. Not only salesmen but store manager too.
2) "Out of
stock" the best excuse.its like a takia-kalaam.atleast I cant stand this
sometimes:) 3)Sometimes promotional offers doesnt suits ur product and
requirement.
4)Provide wrong info sometimes. I guess using "i dont
know" is best than providing wrong info.
5)U can get lots of stuff in
stationary dept. and in electronics stuff too.
6)Competitive prices backed up
by promotional offers sometimes.Gud actually.
7) Arrangement of products is best for
window shopping as u can get the feeling of the product.
8)U can try
electronics stuff with the help of salesmen.
9) Always clear the slightest
doubts regarding warranty of the product.
10) And before landing up at big stores always inquire the small shops for offers.
These things arent with staples only
but with all retails outlets in any segment. So best is be sure about the
technical stuff before u buy something. Google the specs, its best.
Hope it
helps everybody. Critics are invited and appreciation too:)
cheers!
