Star Health Insurance is a scam firm. After spending a three-year premium, I was admitted for the first time because the doctor indicated we needed 48 hours of monitoring and injections to treat a lung infection.
Doctors treated me for the entire 48 hours, and my cost was around 40k INR. Then, when it came time to discharge, they denied the claim for no apparent reason and told you that you didn’t need to be admitted.
Because my reports were so bad, the doctor advised me to get admitted. The doctor then wrote on his letterhead, in stern words, that he had been admitted at my discretion. They still haven’t approved the claim. This is the most deceptive company that has ever existed. It’s a complete ruse.
