This company has maximum appeal pending in ombudsman & courts as they do not pass claim on flimsy grounds. They are hand in glove with network hospitals. TPA are also well trained. The doctor gave a discharge at 10 am. Till 6 pm we were waiting for the claim settlement as our cashless sanction was in part.As cashless was sanctioned we were quite sure that after some deduction our claim. Surprisingly they rejected the claim entirely at 6.30pm. I had to arrange a huge amount as doctor Reshma Rao had also billed 15% above prescribed limit set by the hospital.ultimately I filled a case with ombudsman (lokpal), got the award of almost 90% amount claimed after 10 months.Advice every one to start forcing TPA & panel of doctors in the morning itself. If they say doctors are reviewing, you should start arguing as to how long it takes? We are leaving the hospital, you settle, patient cant be taken for a ride etc. if they deny dont move, tell them you have been paying premiums not for this day etc. New rules also have come up. Study them, they are in favour of consumer.
