My friend in Bangalore has seen an attractive advertisement from STAR Health insurance last year saying that they cover patients of all ages including above 65 years and got lured in to the scheme and has taken a family cover policy with them.

Unfortunately after about 9 months his wife fell sick and has had to undergo a surgery for thyroid with no history of any pre-existing illness.
