I recently purchased STAR Health Insurance and have been extremely disappointed with my experience. My coverage is completely inadequate and I have had to pay out of pocket for many medical expenses. Additionally, the customer service has been extremely unhelpful.
The coverage I have is so limited that it is close to useless. My plan covers almost nothing and I have had to pay for all of my medical expenses out of pocket. I have had to pay for tests, doctor visits, and medications that I thought would be covered. I have spent hundreds of dollars on medical expenses that I thought were covered under my plan.
The customer service has been very unhelpful. I have called multiple times and every time the customer service representatives have been unresponsive and unhelpful. They have not been able to provide me with answers and have been unable to answer basic questions.
Additionally, the website is extremely difficult to navigate. I have tried to figure out what is and is not covered, but the website is full of confusing terms and is incredibly difficult to understand.
