For a channel that claims "Cholo Paltai, ", it has surprisingly small variety to offer when it comes to programme content. The problem with each serial is casting woman in an extremely unhealthy and negative light. Now this is a problem that has been recurring since the saas bahu times. I really want to ask the writers do you see woman of these varying amount of cruelty around you 24x7? Are they made up in some weird twisted fantasy land where you have to have a witch in the family.
The same stories in every serial. You can just catch up even if you miss like two hundred episodes because silly, the plot is surprisingly periodic like a pendulum.
And don’t expect them to respect women. Women in Star Jalsha serials are bound to go through varying amount of trials and tribulations where they are repeatedly disrepected by their families. God forbid if these women are given a career! They eventually end up giving their career and their only ambition in life is to impress the in-laws.
Why can’t there be stories that inspire, that would make you want to reschedule your dinner time to just catch that particular serial on air. Because I don’t want to plug in my earphones after dinner and catch Game of thrones or homeland or quantico, if there is some good programme on TV which I, a 25 year old woman can enjoy with my family.
