Review : ’Kasauti Jindagi Kay’ -Star Plus This popular serial when started had lot of appreciations from the viewers. Our family use to watch, monday through thursday every week without fail, But gradualy the events started taking turn in a very un natural manner in the story.
The crimes committed by close family members of Basu Parivaar goes undetected for a very long time. It is very unnatural the actions of Komlica has never been suspected by any member of the family and she has very successfuly accomplised her evil tasks. More over by showing a son of this family married thrice and one of the ex wife (Komlica) remarries to first cousin of her ex husband and enjoys the patronage of the same family is un believable. The other ex wife (PRERNA) makes and breaks the relationship with her ex hus band so often which is greatly damaging the reputation and values in institution of marriage in hindu culture.
I strongly feel that telecasting of such kind of ill concieved story and unnatural events are not only damaging the social and family values in our society, but also will go a long way to corrupt the tender minds of our younger generations. Before further damage is done it is high time for Information and Broadcasting Ministry to initiate some action to put in place some regulatory authority in the lines of similar to Film Censor Board for small screen, to check the telecasting of such programs.
