Star sports offers very good picture and sound qualy. It has got 4 channels - 1, 2, 3, 4 along with HD channels of same name. It is the destination for all Indian cricket fans. It gets broadcasting rights for world cup, Asia cup, all home series etc. But when India plays overseas it does not broadcast. It is a niche for national sports leagues like pro kabaddi league, badminton league, hockey league. It also broadcasts selected major formula one and tennis tournaments like the grand slams. It also telecasts the vastly famous Indian Super League. It telecasts international football leagues like EPL, bundesliga but doesn’t host champions league or fa cup. And it also has its app Hotstar which is fantastic for watching live matches and highlights. It also broadcasts cricket analysis and highlight shows like t20 power, match point which gives real in depth analysis from expert anchors like vvs laxman, harsha bhogle etc. And Football Today is my favourite football analysis show . Star Sports is top class.
