FaNtAsTiC BuFfEt !!!!

Well, I attended KC College at Churchgate for my 11th and 12th, so the first time I noticed Starters and More was some 2-3 years ago... and began pestering my parents to dine there ! So finally the day came, and we went with a big group of people, for dinner... frankly, it was quite disappointing, because the portions were (I dont know about the present situation) quite small and for such a big group, poor dad had to foot an equally big bill !!

Haha.. so much for discoveries... but then again, this year, my dad got coupons from American Express for Starters and More, and since we’d heard that the Lunch Buffet was fabulous (as it truly is !), we decided to give it a try... this time though, we went in a not-so-large group... and I was aMaZeD ! I mean, sure, Jewel of India has a few more items on their buffet (not to mention at quite a few more rupees!) , but, as only an Indian would say, it has no ’’dum’’ !

This one, on the other hand, has all the dum you could wish for (at a much lesser price and better ambience). The food is varied, fantastic, and it makes you thank god it’s an all-you-can-eat buffet ! :) They have some 8-10 salads (you can also make your own salads using the ingredients and sauces kept there), a similar number of main courses, and 7-8 desserts ! In addition to that, they have a Pasta Counter, where the chef makes pasta to your taste, with his valuable suggestions too... and ofcourse, it’s at no extra cost !

A bit of warning here... it gets quite crowded around 1:30 pm, so I’d suggest true-blue foodies to go around 12:30 ish when you can have all the counters to yourself ! And making reservations earlier (even half an hour earlier) is always a better option... And no, they dont have Valet Parking (as far as I know)... Crowded Churchgate, you see ! ;) The weekday buffet costs Rs. 250/- plus taxes... but the food definitely more than makes up for the cost !!

Oh, and I almost forgot.. you get a beer/iced tea/lemonade complimentary. Also, they have a brunch on Sundays... and I mean to try it sometime soon !
