State Bank of India ATM counters are only ATMs which renders nothing else than 500rs notes. I have 3 ATM kiosks near my home at Salt Lake City, Kolkata . I have tried all of them as well as other SBI ATMs around the place. Never have I been able to withdraw any amount other than multiples of 500. What a stupid ATM service where either you have to withdraw more or less than the desired amount. I have even been to the bank regarding this issue, the response I got was excellent “if we give you all denomination then you’ll would withdraw more money & it becomes difficult to refill the machine at regular intervals”. Very bad ATM service over the city.
