Yes, you hear the true, CONTACT GOD INSTEAD OF CUSTOMER CARE EXECTIVE OF SBI, It is because there number is always busy or seems to be busy!(hrrr.) and it will never get connected. Not only this, if you approach the branch CSR will sayWE CANNOT DO ANYTHING CONTACT CUSTOMER CARE. The following is an example of what happened today with me.
I went to ANDHRA BANK ATM, KPHB, ATM cabin doesnt has the sufficient lights, in the machine there is one regular slot to insert the card and just next it(within 2 mm), there is another gap in which the card can go completely. I lost my card in the gap. I contacted the Andhra Bank customer care executiveSurya, he informed me that we cannot do anything about SBI card contact SBI branch; they only let you know the procedure.
I tried to contact SBI customer care executives on the following numbers(1800112211, 080-2659 9990) using BSNL landlines only, every time the lines are busy. After trying ONE HOUR continuously, I reached to HYDERNAGAR branch(11665) so that they can block the ATM card.
I spoke to CSR named Mr. Rajashekar, he responded in one line i.e. we CANNNOT DO ANYTHING, contact the customer care executives ONLY, I tried to realize him that I have already tried since last one hour but nobody is attending the call, both the numbers are always busy. He again toldWE CANNOT DO ANYTHING. Surprising if branch cannot do anything!
I spoke to branch manager, who has taken my request ONLY after I have given in written. It took me more than one hour to get the acknowledge of the request. I am still not sure whether the card has been blocked or not. The manager doesnt know the process to get the card. He is saying that you should contact Andhra Bank to get the card. I told that Andhra bank would not give the card to me; their executive told me that the card will be send to SBI and you have to contact the SBI bank only.
Surprisingly if the branches doesnt know the process how theyll service to the customer.
I pray from GOD that the card shouldnt go in bad hands. I am still trying SBI customer care executive but still not able to speak. Thats why I mentioned that it is easy to speak to GOD but Not the SBI customer care executives.
