I visited the SBI branch today at Peenya Industrial Area, Bangalore. I visited them to close my PPF account. I was greeted by a lady named Ashwini across the counter. Her attitude was so good that she explained me everything about how to close my PPF account and not only that she went ahead and filled up for the form for me. She then told me the exact process of how the refund will be made and promised to hand over the cheque within an hour.
I was then directed to meet the Manager Mr. A.K. Waza another gentleman every one would love to meet. Very courteous & methodical.During the1 hr I was there I noticed how respectful he was with every colleague and every customer. When I met him, he was offered a glass of buttermilk by his substaff, He immediately told the sub staff to offer a glass of butter milk to me too. It was such a pleasant surprise with the level of presence that man exhibited. Also within I hr all my needs were taken care off and I walked out happy with the way I was taken care off. I acknowledged both of them for the extraordinary service, but both of then were too shy to accept that.
I wanted this to be sent to their management, but unfortunately I did not find an access. This is the pathetic state in Indian Organisations where they provide no access to give them a feedback unless you are their direct customers.
