State Bank of India is a public sector bank and it is the Bank of every Indians. It known as She in short form. Because it provided banking service every where in India where no private sector bank is operating. My first account is opened in this bank, because at that time there was no private sector bank opened in our area. And I have using the SBI account from more than 7 years till today. But due to the largest bank of India many time we see that it show its monopolistic character to the customers. The service of the bank is not so good than the private sector bank.
The first disadvantage of the bank is account opening. Now a days when You go to the bank for opening an account they will say it takes 15 days for opening an account.
Second disadvantage of the bank is the counters of the bank is really low than its customers, so that when we go to the bank for any service it takes more times even many time it takes your whole day to provide us the necessary service we want.
Another disadvantage of the bank is the poor maintenance of its machinery and equipments, so many time we are facing the link failure problem and the machine is not working properly etc. So I say State bank is the poor service providing bank.
