Dear friends I have been using SBI Bank Account for last 3 to four years, on the beginning of my review itself I would like to say please never go SBI Bank, I still remember the day I went to open a Bank Account at SBI, The Staff at SBI, they feel very difficult to open up their mouth for our Quires, even the staff at the inquiry counter have difficulties to answer our quires.
I took 2-3 days to open up my SBI Account at my branch, all the counter at the SBI Bank have long ques, SBI does not have a proper Customer management system at most of the branches in Kerala, Most of the banks have more customer base than SBI, and most the banks have more walk ins than SBI, even most the these banks know how to handle the customers and rush, because they know how to value the customers. Overall the ***customer Service*** is pathetic in Industry.
*Internet Banking .** On opening my account I had only Passbook as I have not applied for the ATM Card, once I felt I require Internet Banking and tried to register a Net Banking account online, I have gone through SBI website and tried to register a Net Banking, I have left back the idea to register, as I felt its better to visit the branch a register Net Banking, a account holder cannot register net Banking online without having an ATM Card.
I have visited SBI Branch and applied for **ATM** card and for cheque book, they have assured me that it will arrive at my home address within one week time, now its around 2-3 weeks left still I have not received the required, I don’t believe that the have started the process to mail the required, because the staffs are not at all responsible in their duties.
Peoples who save saving accounts, please be careful in maintaining the required average balance in the bank account, otherwise they will charge 200-300 per month I you does not maintain the balance, some account holders does not maintain the balance for years and when someone credits some amount to that account a big amount will be deducted from the account.
