I want to discuss indias largest bank i.e State Bank of India .After the merger of state banks SBI has now become the largest bank in india. Being a customer in SBI to review we need to clasify services which were online and offline.
Online services were good and all the options are available.Online means we need to have access to internet, a smart phone or computer and most important is knowledge of using them.Not every time we can depend upon online because they have their own advantages and disadvantages.
Offline services from SBI is available to customers from their respective home branches.The common problems which I face every time.
1) Poor Maintainance of ATMs
A few times there is cash availability in atm. Many a times I find no cash or atms are out of service.
2) No quality service
In bank the general waiting time is 30min. Even for a small work you have to wait. After reaching counter I have queary and the employee does not respond and he says go to bank manager.
3) Rude attitude of employees
Once I got to deposit money as I asked the employee to do so. He refused to deposit my money and said go and deposit in CDSM machine Which took 1hour to deposit money.
4) Now the Sbi has increased minimum balance to my account from 500₹ to 3000₹ .If not they are charging penality. Those charges were huge.
customer service is also very bad.
