Guys, This is the most unusual bank to have really wide variety of charecteristic employees, with unusual vision and logic. Total craap. The credit card bills cannot be paid by cash. Only cheques are accepted. As such the deposit and withdrawal works as if they are still in the process of computerisation. If not for the reach and lack of competitors sbi would have been another krushi bank by now. I am sure icici has kicked the big boys arsse red. sbi stock is in decent shape and I think is substantially overvalued. Once it drops down to second place, that will be the end. There is no doubt abt that.
More than half of the staff speak english once or twice in a month. Very surprisingly they always take pride to have the dumb look on their faces.
Two years back while I was in my campus at iit madras, I proved that the branch manager is a fool to do things like that. He shame lessly accepted ecerything. but again argues that others are equally bad, or slisha better. complete morons in IIT Madras campus branch. Here at hyderabad same story. Why do they make things complicated than required. They have ATM kiosks where one can’t deposit money. They dont have more than 2 lakhs at any ATM. if the cash is over its over.
Its worse than the indian govt offices. The idiots have come to check my office more than 11 times to issue a credit card. But all of the times they simple asked me my name, for how long I have been working nad my phone number. thts it. 11 times, imagine how much wastage of resources. they took more than two months to issue that.
The managers are such morons, that they cant be clear at what they are speaking. its much better to speak with indian politicians. Out and out be careful when investing in sbi.
My only suggestion to sbi. If you cannot provide a value added service its alright. But don’t make customers life horrible with your stupidity.
There are n number of things to pick on sbi. but its a waste. I am sure the morons willnot read this, even if they do, they will say other are also equally bad.
ICICI should also be a little careful while conning people withtheir personal loans and credit cards. Bylarge it has deep impact on the bank, since it is in the best state ever. Second position.
