Some time I wonder how a govt sector bank can be so lethargic in its approach to the customer.First I thought its my experience only or somewhere I am expecting too much from a bank but later on when I foundout from others they seem to have the similar experience.
Most of the time people will not be on seats they will be less informed individuals passing their time and killing customers time.No human approach they will treat the pensioners also the same way as they deal with students. A simple transaction like updating your address or a cheque book request will take hrs. They are very punctual about the lunch hrs and bank closing time but never consider how much man hrs aare wasted due to their in efficency and lack of knowledge.
Sometimes I wonder when I see them struggling through key boards and mouse unable to understand the problem and time being killed. Horrifying experience in few banks when power cut is there . Most of the branches including the main branch also dont have a power backup incase they have few systems will not work if pworking also there will be employee shortage.
Imagine last year I was refused to avail personal loan for the simple reason that there is no staff available for next 15 days and they have other important work lined up except disbursing loan.
WOW wat an excuse and wat a bank.
