If you are looking for a job change and has opted for Steria let me warn you! Seriously guys. Below are some of my observation about the company!
1>It was a wonderful place, in fact a heaven when it was XANSA.
2>If you are a fresher then I would say go for it. its a learning temple. U will be valued in any of the I.T companies after u have worked for Steria not because it’s a brand but just because of the knowledge u will gain from the organisation.
3>They have very limited projects the big fish was Barclaycard which will no more be with it after 2012. A few more to name are Boots, BT and few more.
4>Yes its definitely a place where your job will be secured as in no matter what u will never be said to leave the organisation.
5> It has no work culture. by this I mean your life will be made hell as in the managers expect you to give priority only to work and will expect that u do only work irrespective of what the time is!.
6> A company which has Resource crunch like anything. U will be overburdened for sure.
7>U will be frustrated. Can u imagine a team lead writing test cases and executing the same! Ha Ha
8>If you have an experience in any of the Fortune companies then u will curse yourself if u are here.
9>But yes its a pay-perk company by which I mean. they pay you like crazy.
10>Last but not the least think twice before you join. Keep Steria as your last option if you have any other.
